Fundraisers
This is just a short note to kind of bring all ya’ll up to speed on some of our Fundraising Events. We had a good turnout for our first real event for this year – BBQ/Fish Fry. Thanks to all who were able to make it. The fish was excellent and the chefs did a great job in preparing it. I think we under-estimated how many folks like fish. Feedback is always welcome so let us know what you all thought.

Our next event was our combined effort with the Youth Group. Trick or Trunks/Chili-Soup Supper. We had a great turnout for this also but, unfortunately, Mother Nature didn’t do her part. Rain, rain, rain! So, we all ended up in the hall. If you were there, it really brought out our need for a larger hall. The kids had a great time as I think the adults did too. I’ve got to mention the chili. Variety of tastes was the key here. The chilis were kept in their respective pots so you had a choice. That was a good idea! Like I said, variety. What would you all think about having a parish chili cookoff? Let a Fundraiser member know what you think.

Our next items on the agenda are the Tupperware Fundraiser, Fr. Joe’s birthday celebration (dessert auction), something we’re all excited about, an Hispanic Dinner, and, just for fun, our annual Square dance.
